๐ โฎ๏ธ FOOTBALL FLASHBACK FRIDAY
In the 2021 season opener, the Griz defeated the No. 20-ranked FBS team Washington 13-7 in one of the biggest upsets in college football history. The Grizzlies dominated on defense, holding the Huskies to only seven points and recording three turnovers, three sacks, and eight tackles for loss.
Good Oleโ Grizzliesโ own, Marcus Welnel finished the game with 12 tackles, one sack, and the game sealing interception
Linebacker Patrick O'Connell recorded two sacks and three tackles for loss
Defensive back Gavin Robertson had two interceptions

๐ ๐ GUBNER IS HEADED TO THE CHIEFS
The Kansas City Chiefs, the reigning two-time world champions, announced on Thursday that they have signed Montana's 2024 Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year, Alex Gubner, as a free agent. After participating in rookie minicamps with both Kansas City and Denver in May following the NFL Draft, Gubner was officially added to the Chiefs' 90-man roster this week after another tryout during the team's mandatory minicamp (READ MORE).
