š»āš (NEW!) GRIZ GM REPORT
Griz fans, this is Marcus Welnel! For those who donāt know, I played football for the Griz from 2017 to 2022, and I had the honor of wearing #37 during my senior season. Iām excited to connect with you all and share some exciting updates.
After completing a capstone project on NIL during one of my masterās programs, I worked closely with the athletic department to help our student-athletes navigate the NIL space. This experience led me to my current role as the General Manager of Good Olā Grizzlies, the preferred NIL Collective for the University of Montana. Hereās what you can expect from me going forward:
Weekly Messages: Iāll be sharing updates on how Good Olā Grizzlies is supporting Montana athletics in this evolving landscape.
Education and Information: Learn about the latest developments in NIL and how they impact our student-athletes.
Engagement Opportunities: Your questions and feedback are important! Reply to this email with any questions or topics youād like me to discuss.
Please help us grow our community by sharing this newsletter with other Griz fans so they can stay up-to-date on all things NIL and Griz athletics.
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to connecting with you more. Go Griz!
